Experience the Magic of Oz at the Lady of the Lake Festival 2025!

2 July 2025

If you’re planning a stay at Castle Archdale Holiday Park this July, make sure to mark your calendar for one of the most exciting events of the summer! The Lady of the Lake Festival returns to Irvinestown from 11th to 20th July 2025, promising ten unforgettable days of fun, family entertainment, and community spirit – all wrapped in a magical new theme.

This year, the town is heading somewhere over the rainbow with a full Wizard of Oz transformation! Expect to see Irvinestown like never before, as local shops and businesses embrace the theme with colourful displays, reimagined street signs, and even a yellow brick road guiding the way through the festivities.

The 2025 line-up includes a mix of beloved classics and exciting new events, all sprinkled with a touch of Oz magic. Festival favourites returning this year include the always-popular donkey derby, the 10k/5k themed fun run (fancy dress encouraged – think Dorothy, Scarecrow or the Cowardly Lion!), and the annual truck run, which celebrates its 25th anniversary on Sunday 20th July.

Brand new to the programme is a Toto-themed dog show for your furry friends, a children’s treasure hunt at the beautiful Necarne Estate, and an impressive vintage machinery show on Sunday 13th July – a day that promises a great family atmosphere with lots to see and do.

Whether you’re exploring Lough Erne, staying at Castle Archdale, or simply enjoying the charm of the Fermanagh countryside, the Lady of the Lake Festival is the perfect way to soak up the local culture, creativity, and community spirit.

You can purchase your own programme at the reception for £1
