Our Camping Pods offer a warm, secure, and comfortable alternative to traditional camping – ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors without giving up everyday essentials.
Each pod is beautifully crafted with plenty of headroom and can comfortably sleep up to four guests. Inside, you’ll find a wall-mounted TV, a fridge and kettle at the small prep station, and free WiFi for your convenience. Whether you’re winding down after a busy day or escaping the weather, you’ll feel right at home.
Just outside, a private picnic table is provided with every pod – perfect for enjoying meals or a peaceful cuppa in the fresh air.
While our Camping Pods are simple and compact, they’re packed with thoughtful features to make your stay easy, relaxed, and memorable. Ideal for couples, families, or small groups seeking a cosy, no-fuss base.
Please note: Our accommodation, including camping pods and luxury vans, is not pet-friendly.

Facilities
When you choose to stay in our camping pods, we offer lots of facilities to make your stay as seamless as possible.
If you’re wondering about washing facilities, the camping pods are merely steps away from the superb shower, toilet and infant changing facilities. Onsite, there are also indoor and outdoor dishwashing facilities, and a laundry room including a washing machine and iron.
While you may wish to switch off during your stay in the tranquil setting of Castle Archdale, we understand it’s important to stay connected. That’s why we offer free WiFi across the site.
At the pods, there is a separate dining area hosting a small prep station with a fridge and kettle – perfect for making sandwiches for a picnic and enjoying a cuppa. If the typical Irish weather takes a turn – there’s a wall-mounted TV so you can unwind inside.
For those summer months – when the sun is hopefully shining – we have installed a picnic table outside each pod where you can enjoy a delicious barbeque and the stunning views that surround you!
Onsite, you can also expect lots of things to do. From forest walks, play parks, water sports and plenty of food establishments – however you like to spend your days, it’s all here at Castle Archdale. *Please note that the shop, chippy, bar and restaurant are opened at weekends only from April-June and September. In July and August, they are open daily.*
Pricing
Our camping pod prices provide fantastic value for money from £70 per night. With a minimum stay of two nights when booking, this means you get all the time in the world to explore the area around you. And with so many activities and amenities available – you’ll be sure to make the most of your stay without even leaving the site.
We require 50% when booking more than one night. The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to arrival.

Opening & Closing Dates
We’re open for touring and camping stays from St. Patrick’s Day Weekend until Halloween Weekend. Aire de Service is open from November to February.
